THANKSGIVING WEEKEND

THIS IS WHAT I AM MOST THANKFUL FOR :)

We had a pretty nice Thanksgiving. Kimberly Jimmy and Justin came up from San Antonio. Sandy Gary Jacob Kaitlyn and Hannah came down from Oklahoma. Frank fried a turkey, we also had a ham, potatoes, green beans, 2 kinds of stuffing, Kimberlys squash caserole, homemade cranberry relish, sweet potatoes, cucumber salad, tomato salad, rolls, pumpkin pie, razzleberry pie, cherry pie, apple pie, millionaire pie, pecan pie and some homemade cookies Kimberly made! :) Believe it or not... all of that food is almost gone! We have enough to make some turkey noodle soup tonight and maybe a ham sandwich or two for lunch.

It was great for the kids to have cousins to play with. Aaron really liked Gary and Jacob... that is the first time he remembers meeting them and of course Jimmy and Justin. Amy got her Jimmy fix... those two are so funny together. Hannah and Kaitlyn loved Amy and Ashley. I guess being around boys all the time really makes them appreciate having girly girls to play with. Aaron Slumbered Justin on Wednesday night. it was so funny he woke up on Thanksgiving morning and came downstairs having no clue that he had marker all over his face!!!!! it was hysterical!

Friday was Black Friday and for the first time in over 10 years, I did NOT spend the whole day shopping. I went out a couple times for an hour or so... first at the booty crack of dawn... actually before it and then again that evening around 9:30 I went to Old Navy to get Austin some jeans. It was fun, and we all know I love the black friday crowds, but I wanted to spend the time with Kim Sandy and the kids before they had to leave.

Friday night is when we found peppermint. She is an adorable white rat dog whose head is too big for her body. Ashley is in love with her and hoping her dad will let her keep her if we dont find her owners. I dont think the dog has left Ashleys side since we found her... she carries her around in a dog purse and dresses her in little clothes.

On Saturday we just chilled out most of the day. Got the 2 of the trees down and cleaned out & organized the attic a little bit. We started to decorate and put the trees together. Frank was supposed to put up the lights but did not.... said he would do it Sunday. I need to get up in the attic above the garage to get the other 3 trees out and see what else we have hiding up there :) i LOVE getting the decorations down every year... the memories of they hold and the surprise of the stuff we forgot we had! :) LOVE IT! Aaron found his santa costume and was decorating while wearing it.... dang I should have gotten pictures! I will next time he puts it on... he loves that thing! OKLAHOMA STOMPED osu!!! HECK YES!!!! Tech won... but scared us through most of the game. So that makes a 3 way tie... OU Texas and Tech... now it is up to the bcs...

On Sunday we went out to Brooklyns 2nd birthday party. Austin got to ride one of Kristas horses... he loved that. Amy had cheer practice and was not able to go. Ashley had peppermint with her the whole time. Frank still did not get to the lights... hopefully soon. SOONERS GET TO PLAY IN THE BIG 12 CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!! :) HECK YES!!!!! At this point they are ranked #2 in the Nation.... sorry Longhorn fans....
